Attending the 2008 Training Camp
For the third time since it moved from Bryant College to Foxboro, my daughters and I attended the New England Patriots’ Training Camp. And for the third time, we’ve had a lot of fun while watching our favorite players get ready for the upcoming season.
Sitting in the wet endzone
We took a lot of pictures of the training camp which you can see here!
I just can’t get over how much the Krafts have transformed the stadium and its surroundings. Patriots Place looks incredible. There’s construction everywhere; a hotel and research center being built. I got a quick peek into the unfinished “Hall” and so far, it looks a lot like the Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio with a rotunda-style entrance and a huge staircase. I can’t wait until it opens!
Every time I visit Gillette Stadium now I am stunned by how different everything is since my days at Schaeffer Stadium. I know I say this a lot but I can’t thank the football gods enough for giving us Robert Kraft. As Patriots fans, we are lucky to have the best owner in the league.
