Attending the 2008 Training Camp

July 29th, 2008 by Rick

For the third time since it moved from Bryant College to Foxboro, my daughters and I attended the New England Patriots’ Training Camp. And for the third time, we’ve had a lot of fun while watching our favorite players get ready for the upcoming season.

Sitting in the wet endzone

We took a lot of pictures of the training camp which you can see here!

The HallI just can’t get over how much the Krafts have transformed the stadium and its surroundings. Patriots Place looks incredible. There’s construction everywhere; a hotel and research center being built. I got a quick peek into the unfinished “Hall” and so far, it looks a lot like the Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio with a rotunda-style entrance and a huge staircase. I can’t wait until it opens!

Every time I visit Gillette Stadium now I am stunned by how different everything is since my days at Schaeffer Stadium. I know I say this a lot but I can’t thank the football gods enough for giving us Robert Kraft. As Patriots fans, we are lucky to have the best owner in the league.
