The recent camera scandal has infuriated me. I’m not trying to justify going against NFL policy and rules but I’m so sick of people trying to take away the success of the Patriots in the last few years. This includes people in the media, the NFL, and my morning coffee shop!

If this spying on signals from other teams made that much of a difference don’t ya think the Patriots would be undefeated since 2001? I feel you still have to go out there and play the game - catch, pass, run - and execute. Every team in the NFL employs some type of way to decipher the opposing teams signals to gain that slight edge the game and any team that denies it are the real cheats. Not that I’m accusing, but don’t you think it’s odd how the Colts can pay players like Manning, Freeney and Harrison boatloads of cash, they never have to take pay cuts, but the team is always far below the cap? As if there isn’t any unseen cap maneuvering there? I do think the Colts are a great organization but hey, if we’re talking about fudging the rules here, maybe there’s more than meet the eye there?

Today on ESPN, Donovan McNabb was asked what he thought about the scandal. He said he thinks it doesn’t really make any difference at all. Then he jokingly asked if he gets a ring now. HA. Now that’s a classy, no bullshit guy. Philadelphia’s Brian Westbrook agreed. It seems the teams and players that are the most outspoken on the matter are the ones that the Patriots have beaten in important games in the Belichick era.

Now, finding out that this began with an official Jet’s complaint has shown me a lot about Belichick’s former protege. I feel Eric Mangini is a slime. Dear Bill Belichick, in the next Jets game, show no mercy. Run up the score no matter what it takes.

And to the Kraft family, thank you for giving me the Patriots I’ve always dreamed of when I was a kid. And thank you to all the players for their unselfish devotion to the team and the New England community, and that INCLUDES Bill Belichick.
